Epic Fantasies #45
Running in circles
Hello friend,
Remember how I said last month that I had some urgent administrative tasks that I needed to take care of before I got back to writing? Well, it’s taking longer than expected. I’ve also had to catch up on my day job, which has been a bit challenging. So between those two, I haven’t found a moment to write.
This is so frustrating.
Sometimes I feel like I’m running in circles (sigh).
Hopefully this will be a better month. It should be… but that’s what I thought last month as well, so who the hell knows?
I guess we’ll find out in my next email—which is scheduled for April 11.

A Grudge is Born
by Andrew Claydon
Just because you're chosen doesn't mean you want to be.
Four years before Nicolas Percival Carnegie was reluctantly chosen to deliver a message, Auron of Tellmark, the legendary Dawnblade, was lumbered with a task he didn't want.
Going from a life of carefree hero work to having the future of the Guild of Heroes' in his hands, Auron finds himself completely out of his depth.
But he's the Dawnblade. What task can't he excel at?
Maybe he will find out when an old enemy returns, hellbent on ensuring that this future never comes to pass and that everything Auron loves is torn down.
This could be Auron's greatest challenge to date, and he would be much happier facing it alone.
